Lamban Bahasa

Overview

Lamban Bahasa is a digital dictionary for the Lampung language, designed to provide centralized, community-based access to Lampung vocabulary, phrases, and grammar. This means the community can contribute to adding vocabulary and phrases, allowing the dictionary to continuously evolve.

This project was a collaboration between myself as a frontend developer and a team consisting of a backend developer, a mobile developer, and a UI/UX Designer. In its development, we used modern technologies like Qwik for the frontend, Golang for the backend, and React Native for mobile. The choice of Qwik as the frontend framework allowed me to build a very fast and responsive interface while maintaining an optimal user experience.

The main challenge in this project as a frontend developer was understanding how Qwik works, which is different from traditional JavaScript frameworks. Qwik prioritizes performance by loading only the necessary parts of the application at the right time, thereby increasing the overall speed and efficiency of the application.

Overall, this project provided valuable experience in developing a responsive and fast web application, expanded my knowledge of modern frontend technologies, and was completed within 6 months.
